FIHRIYA Islamic Arts Fiesta Concludes with Prize Distribution Deli, September 28: The four-day FIHRIYA Islamic Arts Fiesta 2026, organised by Sa-Adiya Arabic College, concluded on Monday with a closing and prize distribution ceremony. Held from September 23 to 26, the fiesta featured a variety of competitions centred on Islamic culture, arts and creativity. The event provided students with a platform to showcase their talents while fostering an appreciation of Islamic heritage and artistic expression. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions held during the festival. Pallangod Abdul Khader Madani, Kollambady Abdul Khader Sa-Adi, Dr Swalahudheen Ayyubi, Abdul Hameed Master and Ali Sa-Adi Poochakkad attended the ceremony. The programme marked the official conclusion of FIHRIYA 2026, bringing four days of artistic expression, cultural engagement and student participation to a close.

FIHRIYA Islamic Arts Fiesta Begins at Sa-Adiya Arabic College Deli: The four-day FIHRIYA Islamic Arts Fiesta 2026 began at Sa-Adiya Arabic College on Wednesday, September 23, bringing together students for a vibrant celebration of Islamic culture, creativity and artistic expression. The festival, being held from September 23 to 26, features a variety of competitions and programmes aimed at encouraging students to showcase their artistic talents while deepening their appreciation of Islamic heritage. The inauguration ceremony was held at 10 a.m. in the presence of Sayyid Zainul Abideen Al Ahdalkannavam, Dr. Abubakar MA and Dr. Salahuddeen Ayyubi. The dignitaries addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity and artistic excellence among students. Named FIHRIYA in honour of Fatima al-Fihri, the founder of Al-Qarawiyyin in Fez, Morocco, the festival seeks to blend artistic expression with Islamic values and cultural awareness. The four-day event provides students with a platform to demonstrate their talents, build confidence and celebrate the richness of Islamic arts and traditions.

FIHRIYA Arts Fest to Commence on September 23 DELI: Creativity, culture and artistic expression will take centre stage at Saadiyya Arabic College as the four-day FIHRIYA Arts Fest gets underway on September 23. Featuring a wide range of artistic competitions and cultural programmes, the festival will continue until September 26, bringing together the female students of the college in a celebration of talent and creativity. Named after Fatima al-Fihriya, a distinguished woman in Islamic history, the festival has been designed to nurture the students’ artistic abilities while highlighting the richness of Islamic heritage, culture and values. A diverse array of programmes has been organised to provide students with opportunities to explore and showcase their creative potential. The festival will be inaugurated by Saadiyya Secretary K. P. Hussain Saadi, K.C. Road, with Principal Dr. Salahuddin Ayyubi presiding over the function.

DELI: The Seerathunnabi Academic Seminar, organised by Saadiya Arabic College as part of its Wulidal Huda Milad Campaign, concluded with a series of academic presentations focusing on the life, teachings and legacy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The month-long Milad campaign, being held from Rabi’ul Awwal 1 to 30, features a variety of religious, academic and cultural programmes. Maulid Majlis, Milad Daily Quiz, Fihriya Arts Fest and the Seerathunnabi Academic Seminar are among the major programmes organised as part of the campaign. The Seerathunnabi seminar provided a platform for students to explore different dimensions of the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through an academic perspective. Various aspects of the Prophet’s life, character, teachings, social engagement and contributions were discussed during the programme. Suffa Dars Commences at Saadiya Women’s College

Deli: As part of the centenary celebrations of Samastha, the Suffa Dars conducted under the guidance of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama commenced at Saadiya Women’s College with the participation of around 200 students. The programme was organised as part of the Wulidal Huda Milad Campaign, offering students an opportunity to engage in religious learning and spiritual reflection. The gathering provided a meaningful platform for students to enhance their understanding of Islamic teachings and values. The programme was presided over by College Principal Dr. Salahuddin Ayyubi. Abdul Ghaffar Saadi led the Dars and delivered the session for the participating students. Ali Saadi Poochakkad and Abdullahil Mubarak also attended the programme. The event witnessed active participation from around 200 students and was marked by an atmosphere of learning, devotion and spiritual enrichment. The programme formed part of the various activities being conducted in connection with the centenary celebrations of Samastha and the Wulidal Huda Milad Campaign.
